Correct accreditation is important. This course carries with it three important accreditations. We are accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, The National Hypnotherapy Society and the NLP Diploma element of our course is endorsed by the Guild of NLP.
These are important accreditations and will provide you with the confidence and support to help make your Hypnotherapy practice a success. Many trainers and organisations like to give the impression they carry this level of accreditation. Please check you training company very carefully.

British Psychological Society
Our sixteen day Hypnotherapy Diploma Course is “Approved by the British Psychological Society for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)”. This Approval applies only to the 16 day training program.
General Hypnotherapy Standards Council
The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council Courses are only validated at full practitioner level where they demonstrate that they meet all learning outcomes required to ensure their graduates comply with relevant National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Hypnotherapy as set down by Skills for Health, with an appropriate ratio of face to face training and teaching through other methods. This training is Accredited at Practitioner Level.
General Hypnotherapy Standards Council
The AC was established in 2002 and is a leading independent and not-for- profit professional body dedicated to promoting best practice and raising awareness and standards of coaching worldwide.
As an inclusive body, with members in over 60 countries, it is made up of professional coaches, academic institutions, trainers and providers of coaching, as well as sponsors of coaching from the third sector through to large corporates, building coaching cultures.
Professional Guild of NLP
The Professional Guild of NLP is an association of like-minded professional NLP Training Organisations and Individual practitioners who have been trained by them. Non commercial and not for profit, the Guild seeks to provide an interface between quality NLP training and the public at large. Guild Endorsed / Accredited training is of the highest standard and all trainers registered with the Guild have undergone extensive NLP training.The NLP element of this training course has been assessed by the Guild as meeting these requirements. David Woolley is a qualified trainer registered with the Guild of NLP
Association of NLP
The Association of NLP is possibly the leading organisation in the UK for NLP therapists and NLP Trainers. I have a full registration with the ANLP as both a Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP. I work closely with my colleague Mr Bruce Grimley and act as external assessor for the students attending Innergame NLP Practitioner Training. Recently the Innergame training company has been incorporated into Achieving Lives but will continue to offer fully accredited NLP training of the highest quality.
National Hypnotherapy Society
The National Hypnotherapy Society make sure all of its accredited training providers deliver training of the highest standard. Course content has to meet exacting standards and cover a wide range of Hypno-therapeutic techniques. Following successful completion of a validated training course the graduate is invited to join the Hypnotherapy Society and is also eligible to join the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council.
Our Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy has been Accredited by the National Hypnotherapy Society which means that graduates have a more straightforward route to apply for registration to the National Hypnotherapy Society’s Accredited Register. The council’s register is currently open to qualified* practitioners in various complimentary therapies including Hypnotherapy. CNHC registration is becoming increasingly valued within the profession and recognised by other Health Care Professionals as a sign of quality training.
Practitioners on the CNHC register are able to display the CNHC quality mark in their practice and in publicity materials such as leaflets and websites. Only students who have complete a training course that meets these exacting requirements is allowed to join the organisation. Hypnotherapy training requires a minimum of 120hours face-to-face training and a further period of study amounting to a total of some 450 hours. HypnoFocus training meets these requirements.
